Conditions and Rules
REGISTRATION
To register for lessons or courses, please complete the registration form and we will send you the details (invoice, class times,…) through email.
For adult students (21 years and older), a 21% VAT (BTW) applies to the lesson fees.
Lessons for new students begin in the first week of September. If it is not possible for you start your class on September, you could send an email to the adminstration@piccolomusicschool.com and explain the situation, and if possible a new start date will be arranged for you.
Trial Lesson
Your first lesson is a trial lesson, if you want to continue the course this will be considered your first session. If after trial lesson you decide not to start the course your trial lesson is free of charge.
PAYMENT
Lesson fees for all courses must be paid in advance. If you prefer to pay in two instalments please send an email to adminstration@piccolomusicschool.com
If the automatic debit fails due to reasons beyond the control of Piccolo Music School, you will be asked to use an alternative payment method.
Late payments will result in the student being barred from lessons, but the payment obligation still remains. Lessons may resume once the payment is received, but missed lessons will not be made up or compensated.
If you choose to decline automatic debit, there will be a €10 administration charge per invoice.
New students registering for an instrument will be charged a one-time registration fee of €15.
Invoices are sent via email with link to pay. While we try to prevent them from being filtered as spam, we cannot guarantee it. Please check your spam box.
TERMINATION OF LESSONS
To terminate registration, a written request must be sent to adminstration@piccolomusicschool.com 2 months in advance.
CANCELLATION OF WORKSHOPS, MASTERCLASSES, OR FULL-YEAR COURSES
Only written cancellations will be accepted. Cancellations made up to 1 month before the course begins are free of charge. For later cancellations, the following charges apply:
1 month to 2 weeks before commencement: 50% of the tuition fee.
Less than 2 weeks before commencement: 75% of the tuition fee.
Same-day cancellation or no-show: 100% of the tuition fee.
If you have registered for the new school year and decide to cancel before September 15th, 2023, you will be billed for the first half of the year.
MISSED LESSONS
If a lesson needs to be canceled because of the teacher\’s illness or other unforeseen circumstances, the student will be notified as early as possible. For weekly lessons, a maximum of two missed lessons per season cannot be made up or compensated in another way.
If one or more lessons of a course with a specific number of classes are canceled due to unforeseen circumstances, the course end date will be adjusted to ensure completion by the regular teacher. The teacher is not obligated to make up for missed lessons by the student.
